Wonderful harbour. Friendly and helpful people here,  Surprising how many Germans speak English icon honest, and very friendly.

In the middle of a wedding photo shoot while I charge my battery at Restaurant Zum Farmer, thanks!

It had to happen. Went to a camping place and spoke to the representative. Asked if he could speak English and he immediately got annoyed and asked if I could speak German. I  politelyexplained i couldn't and he the spoke English. He gave me a really expencive price and told me if I didn't like it then I should leave his camp site. Shame. I understand I have to communicate in the native language, but what can I do but explain I can't.

Found an extra special place.

Travelled little today, need to make up for it tomorrow. Another great experience though. Never slept on the beach sober before :)

Day 25 Germany

Wondered why o Dr a hundred bike passed me earlier on. :)

Just attempted my first battery recharge. Success but only due to Google translate. She didn't seem happy when I walked in with this big brick of a battery. Guess she was expecting a phone.

These things are huge and they're everywhere here.

In a camp site tonight. German law forbids sleeping in the woods. 10€ not bad for all the amenities as well. Met a lovely Dutch couple, Barkley fell in love with them. Hope we keep in touch as I owe them a beer. Card is not as welcome in Germany as cash apparently.

Thought of the day.

It's going to be much harder in Germany than the Scandinavian countries. It's a much different country but the people so far are just as pleasant, except for the crazy woman next camp to me....

Fond farewells to a great camp. All showered, clean and ready to push on to Germany.

Thought of the day.

It's been great has Denmark. I have to say it's been my favourite Scandinavian country, mainly because I think it's closer to home. Not as expensive as Finland or Sweden. The women are more beautiful than Sweden,but not Finland! Just my opinion :) Less greenery though no less beautiful. Everyone lives closer together meaning everything's within reach. And it's not as cold!

Day 23 Day of rest.

28th August.

Great night sleeping under the stars.

Forecast rain all day so been shopping at the local nettos supermarket and bought some real food to cook on the open fire.

First decent meal in week's.

Today was a day of rest.

Day 22 one big long road.

Another day Tuesday 27th August.

Good morning.

Back on the road. Leaving people behind you've just begun to get to know doesn't get any easier.

Always worried I'm going to leave something behind.

Last night's wonderful camp.

Not much wind today, but there's a storm avoiding.

That was one heavy storm, I sat in my chair with Barkley on my lap under the storm tent. Still wet through, but warm. Warm rain, lovely.

Looks like a super expencive posh joint. Ordered coffee while my battery charges, already worried sick about the bill. :(

Found a great shelter, pictures tomorrow. Thundering like mad and loads of rain, but i m in the right place. Great stuff.
